Meet Smudge, the beautifully "perfectly-imperfect" member of the collection. Named for his wonderfully chaotic black-and-white coat, Smudge represents those real-life kitties with unpredictable patches and "ink-blot" markings.
 
During the kiln firing, his glaze took on a life of its own, creating a soft, smoky transition between his colors that you just can't recreate on purpose. He is a reminder that there is beauty in the unexpected.
